Who We Are
Avenues ECS was founded with a vision to strengthen families and communities through compassionate, culturally-rooted home visiting services. We started with a commitment to support families through every stage of pregnancy and early childhood development — and have since grown into a trusted partner for families across McKinley County.
Our Mission & Vision

Mission
This mission of Avenues Early Childhood Home Visiting services is to be a helping hand to families so that they can feel empowered and confident to make the best decision for their children. We support families in recognizing joy and delight in parenting while navigating through the challenges of everyday life.

Vision
Avenues Early Childhood Services believes that as a result of our program, New Mexico will no longer be last among all states for child welfare. Social issues related to poverty and historical trauma will no longer have an impact on a child’s future.

Goal
To walk alongside more families on their parenting journey—growing stronger, more connected communities one home at a time.
We believe that all children deserve to be raised in an environment that results in health, happiness, and success

Empower
We equip families with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make informed decisions for their children and themselves. Empowerment means fostering independence while providing support, so families can recognize their strengths and build resilience.

Nurture
We create a safe, supportive, and caring environment where families feel seen and valued. Nurturing is about fostering growth—emotionally, socially, and physically—so every child and caregiver can thrive.

Respect
We honor each family’s unique story, culture, and values. Respect means listening without judgment, valuing differences, and ensuring that every voice matters in the journey of care and growth.
Integrity
We uphold honesty, transparency, and accountability in every interaction. Integrity ensures that families can trust us to do what is right, even when no one is watching.
Compassion
We approach every situation with empathy and kindness, understanding that challenges often come with deep emotions. Compassion drives us to provide support that is both heartfelt and practical.

Honor
We recognize the dignity and worth of every individual we serve. Honor means celebrating strengths, preserving confidentiality, and treating each family as a valued partner in shaping brighter futures.
